OUR STORY

Our name, Dolcetto, is one of my favorite grapes as it has such a romantic story. In Piedmont, Italy, the big prestigious Barolo & Barbaresco makers have endeared the name “Little Sweet One” or “Sweet Thing” to their most treasured but humble grape. When these producers go to each other’s homes, they begin the evening by presenting this cherished workhorse of a wine to show the dedication to their passion and decide what else they will enjoy that evening. As if that is not enough of a reason to fall for Dolcetto, it also pairs wonderfully with so many foods.
